Introduction to Department of Applied Biological Science

We aim to deeply explore and understand the life functions of microorganisms, animals, plants, etc. based on chemistry and biology. The goal of biotechnology is to apply the results of bioscience to the advanced production of useful substances related to daily life, including foods, medicines, and agrochemicals. We provide education to be active in the fields of bioscience and biotechnology, and develop human resources who can contribute to the development of humanity.

Department of Applied Biological Science is located on the Fuchu Campus of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and Technology.
