On Friday, April 18, an opening ceremony was held for the West Tokyo International Innovation Co-Creation Hub "Kaikoukan" (hereinafter "Kaikoukan"), inviting many distinguished guests to a commemorative lecture and ribbon-cutting ceremony.

【What the Encounter Hall aims for】
The Tama (West Tokyo) area of Tokyo, where Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology is located, is an area that can be a model of the city of the future, with a population of 4.3 million and abundant nature.
Research institutes, private companies, startups, local governments, etc. will gather to conduct research and development while envisioning the future of Tokyo Tama area, and to create innovation from the Tokyo Tama area to other parts of the Japan and around the world, with the aim of becoming a center for co-creation of a recycling-oriented society between industry, academia, government, and the private sector.
